Five women. All in the entertainment industry. So beautiful. So flawless. We know that... or at least I think that. But more than their physical appearance and their show, music, or movies, I admire them most for their courage. They chose to use their talent as a platform to make a difference. They chose to stand up for what they believe in... and that's something to aspire to.

Angelina Jolie
Her words at the Global Summit in London: "It is a myth that rape is an inevitable part of conflict... There is nothing inevitable about it. It is a weapon of war aimed at civilians. It has nothing to do with sex – everything to do with power. It is done to torture and humiliate innocent people and often very young children. I have met survivors from Afghanistan to Somalia, and they are just like us – with one crucial difference: We live in safe countries with doctors we can go to when we're hurt, police we can turn to when we're wronged, and institutions that protect us... They live in refugee camps or bombed-out streets in areas where there is no law, no protection, and not even the hope of justice. And as an international community we are responsible for that." Audrey Hepburn
Her reaction for the response she received while at UNICEF: "Somebody said to me the other day, 'You know, it's really senseless, what you're doing. There's always been suffering, there will always be suffering, and you're just prolonging the suffering of these children [by rescuing them].' My answer is, 'Okay, then, let's start with your grandchild. Don't buy antibiotics if it gets pneumonia. Don't take it to the hospital of it has an accident. It's against life-against humanity-to think that way." View the Audrey Hepburn Society at UNICEF here.

Beyonce Knowles-Carter
Beyonce has done at lot in paying it forward and she's done her share of standing up in what she believes in. From partnering with foundations like Make-a-Wish and donating to organizations like Chime for Change (as shown above), she definitely does all she can to help others in need. A year or so ago, she started the #BeyGOOD movement. Click here to read what it's all about.

Taylor Swift
Topping the dosomething.org's list of celebrities who have "done good," Taylor is not one to shy away from spreading the love around. To name a few of her good works, she donate $4 million dollars to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, which led to the opening of the Taylor Swift Education Center. All profits from her current single "Welcome to New York" are actually going to the New York City Public School system. She even gets personal with her good deeds. Just today, the world found out r (thanks to her #taylurking) gave $1,989 to a girl for her student loans. Read all about it here.

Shay Mitchell
Beyond being a rising star, Shay did something crazy to raise funds to rescue those in sexual slavery. She (and a bunch of other people) jumped off a plane. Seems easy (sorta) but crazy enough right? Along with project 18for18, they raised money for rescues."This can cover an entire year of costs for the foundations rescue missions in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos, where children as young as 3 are being sold for as little as $50 dollars and forced to service up to 25 clients a day. These women and children have no real support system on the outside, making escape or rescue almost impossible. This is where we join the fight." View her journey here.
